Revised Ngenco Warranty Document 28th February 2025

Ngenco Limited Warranty

  1. Warranty Coverage

Ngenco Limited warrants that Ngenco PPF will be free from material defects in design, manufacture, and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of application. This warranty covers defects such as discolouration, staining, cracking, blistering, and delamination.

This warranty does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Application & Maintenance Requirements

Ngenco PPF must be applied by an Authorised Ngenco Installer following the prescribed application instructions. Defects resulting from incorrect application are not covered under this warranty.

For optimal product performance, purchasers are advised to have their Ngenco PPF inspected every twelve (12) months by an Authorised Ngenco Installer, with records logged in the warranty booklet. However, failure to complete these inspections does not invalidate the warranty.

To activate the Ngenco Limited Warranty, purchasers are encouraged to register their warranty on the Ngenco website upon completion of the Ngenco PPF installation. Registration facilitates the warranty claims process but is not mandatory. Failure to register does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Warranty Claims Process

To make a claim under this warranty, the purchaser should first contact the original Ngenco Authorised Installer where the application was performed. If the installer is unavailable or cannot be reached, the purchaser may contact Ngenco Limited directly via telephone at +44 330 024 5981 or email at warranty@ngenco.com for further assistance.

The purchaser should retain the original warranty booklet and a copy of the original invoice identifying the applied coverage. If these documents are unavailable, alternative proof of purchase, such as bank statements, confirmation emails, or installer records, may be accepted.

  1. Exclusions

This warranty does not extend coverage to defects arising from the following:

  • Neglect or negligence by the purchaser, including failure to properly maintain the product.
  • Alterations or modifications to the product, including any unauthorised repairs or adjustments.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, including floods, earthquakes, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Severe impact from road debris beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Accidents or collisions that damage the applied product.
  • Intentional damage, misuse, or vandalism of any kind.
  • Use in extreme conditions, including excessive speed above the national legal limit, track days, or off-road driving. Vehicles used for motorsports or commercial racing are not covered under this warranty.
  • Defects resulting from improper application by the installer.
  • Failure to apply Ngenco PPF in accordance with prescribed application instructions. Only approved reducers, thinners, catalysts, hardeners, and additives may be used. Mix ratios and application instructions must be followed to ensure compliance with program standards.
  • Applications carried out by anyone other than a Ngenco Authorised Installer. These products are designed for professional use only and require trained personnel with appropriate equipment. If an unauthorised application results in product failure, this warranty will not cover the defect.

This clause does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Warranty Transfer

The remaining period of this warranty is transferable by the original purchaser to a subsequent private buyer upon payment of a £25.00 administration fee to Ngenco Limited. The warranty transfer applies only when the vehicle is sold or part-exchanged to a private purchaser.

In cases where the vehicle is sold to a business or trade entity, the new owner may contact Ngenco Limited to discuss potential warranty continuation.

Warranty coverage remains valid provided there has been no prior misuse of the product. However, the existence of a previous warranty issue does not automatically void the transfer, and each case will be reviewed individually.

This clause does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Subject to Clause 5.1 above:

Ngenco Limited’s total liability to the purchaser for all claims arising under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the application, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.

Ngenco Limited shall not be liable for loss of profit or indirect or consequential losses, except where such losses are reasonably foreseeable and directly result from a breach of this warranty.

No representative or agent of Ngenco Limited is authorised to modify this warranty, except where modifications are made in writing and approved by an executive officer of Ngenco Limited.

Any waiver, alteration, addition, or modification of the foregoing conditions shall only be valid if made in writing and signed by an executive officer of Ngenco Limited.

  1. Legal Compliance & Final Provisions

Nothing in this warranty shall limit or exclude Ngenco Limited’s liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (title and ownership).
  • Liability for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
  • Consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to receive a product that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
  • Any other liability which cannot be lawfully excluded or restricted under applicable law.

Ngenco Limited reserves the right to remove or add products to its list of products covered by this warranty at any time. However, this shall not affect warranties already issued at the time of product application.
